Fish and Chips

Once again Watford Lions turned out in force; and had a tremendous night with some of the more elderly members of the Watford Community, at a very successful Fish and Chips supper. We were fortunate to be able obtain the services of and entertained by, the Warbler’s, a very long standing local amateur dramatics group, they put on such amazing shows and this was no exception.

This one themed on WW1 and many a good song sung. The guests joined in and had a great sing along.
We received some excellent reports back from many of the guests. We had well over 50 people this time.

We provide everything free of charge to our guest including transport; we try for a least four of these fish and chips suppers a year, depending on the amount of money we can raise in the course of the year.

This is just one of the services the Lions of Watford carry out yearly and has been ongoing for well over thirty years.

We help other clubs to carry out service activities as well as call on friends and family to help with things like transport to and from the Fish and Chip venue.
