Abbots Langley Carnival - 2015
Watford Lions Club is organizing the carnival again this year at Manor House Recreation Grounds, Gallows Hill Lane, Abbots Langley. The carnival will be preceded by a procession of floats round the village starting at 12 noon from School Mead, along the usual route reaching Abbots Langley High Street at around 12.45pm. Cups will be presented at the carnival to the winning floats in each category.
There will be around 80 stalls at Carnival a Companion Dog Show runs throughout the afternoon including an agility display. The main arena program is from 1.15pm to 4.45. The headline act is Spectacular Knights of the Crusades who act out two plays about Richard the Lions Hearted and King Arthur, with audience participation.
The arena program will also include dancers, majorettes, and a marching band. There is a fun fair, a food court and many other activities such as bouncy castles, a climbing wall and go-carts. There is a bar at Manor House. It’s a very popular event with activities to suit all the family event is sponsored by M.K.Ginder & Son, Warner Bros.Leavesden Studios and Abbots Langley Parish Council.
